1. Dubrovnik

Know as the Pearl of the Adriatic. This medieval town encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century is listed as Unesco’s World Heritage site and is one of the most popular attractions in Europe. Take a walk along the walls and see the places used as a movie set for Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Robin Hood and many other. Enjoy numerous restaurants, bars and amazing nightlife. Take a cable car or climb the overlooking mount Srd for the best view of the historical old town.

2. Krka National Park

When you say Croatia and waterfalls that is what you have in mind. Spend your day off in this remarkable place swimming under the unique travertine waterfalls and enjoying breathless landscapes. 4. Plitvice national Park

Plitvice Lakes is the oldest and largest national park and must visit place while in Croatia.

With its 16 lakes, seven different routes to tour the lake system and four hiking trails it has always attracted nature lovers. It takes up to six hours to explore the lakes on foot, the but there is an option to shorten your trip by using park’s free boats and buses.

5. Split and the surrounding area

While in Split, visit the 1700-year-old Roman palace and stroll around the cobbled streets. If you like museums we recommend visiting the Archaeological museum with thousands of artefacts from the Greek and Roman era.

Just 15 minutes drive from Split city centre visit the ruins of the ancient city of Salona with the Roman amphitheatre. Fortress of Klis used to defend Split from the Ottomans, now best known as a film set for the Game of Thrones is also 15 minutes drive.

If you’re into nature and need a break from the sun, Vranjaca cave is a perfect pick with its remarkable stalagmites.
